    • Cornelis en Maria woonden in Etten-Leur. Na zijn dood bleef Maria achter met kleine kinderen. Ze hertrouwde met de ruim tien jaar jongere Adrianus Luijten. Ze kregen samen nog drie kinderen: Jacoba werd op 17 februari 1900 in Roosendaal geboren, zoon Adrianus eveneens op 24 mei 1901, en dochter Maria Johanna Adriana werd op 27 augustus 1905 in Princenhage geboren.

      Op 20 oktober 1915 kwam het gezin vanuit Teteringen in Breda aan de Tramsingel 51 wonen. Ook Adriana en Theodora Trouw, dochters uit het eerste huwelijk van Maria, woonden toen bij hen in. Op 26 april 1917 gaan ze weer terug naar Teteringen.
