    Notes:

    Maria kreeg toen ze 21 jaar oud was een onwettig kind. Op 28 september 1804 werd Adriaan Platschart geboren. Hij bleef niet lang leven. Op 12 mei 1805 is hij overleden. Op 30 oktober 1804 staat over deze bevalling in de kerkenraadsnotulen:
    Wegens gegeven ergernis door eene onegte bevalling werd onder censuur tot droefheid der vergadering gelegd Maria Platschart. Opvallend detail is dat haar vader op dat moment lid was van de kerkenraad.

    Twee jaar later, op 18 maart 1807, trouwt ze met de 32-jaar oude Louis (Lodewijk) de Bois uit Oostburg. Hij was een zoon van Thomas du Bois en Lena Jansen. De vader van Maria, Jean Platschart is dan 56 jaar en treedt op als getuige. Lang is ze niet met Lodewijk getrouwd. Op 14 augustus 1815 is hij overleden. Vijf jaar later krijgt ze haar tweede onwettige kind, Cornelia. Dit blijft wel in leven. Ook hier heeft de kerkenraad geen goed woord voor over:
    De viering van het H. Avondmaal op handen zijnde, word er censura morum gehouden en besloten om Maria Platschart aan te schrijven, dat zij zich, wegens haar onzedelijk gedrag, blijkbaar in het onecht kind dat zij ter wereld gebragt heeft, van het Avondmaal volkomen zal onthouden, tot zoo lang zij den kerkeraad blijken van haar berouw gegeven hebben, of de vergadering overtuigd is van haar zedelijk gedrag.

    Haar nog enig levende wettige zoon (Johannes Jacobus) bij Louis du Bois, woont in die tijd bij haar vader. Hij krijgt daarvoor van de kerkenraad 52 gulden per jaar om hem te verzorgen.

    Maria sterft als haar dochter 14 jaar oud is. Ze woont dan in wijk 11 nr. 26.
